CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH NIA HOUSE MONTESSORI


At IDEA, we believe in offering a hands-on, experiential learning environment that is tailored to the unique needs and interests of each child. That's why, in honor of Black History Month, we would like to give a shout-out to the NIA House Montessori School, a black-owned Montessori school located in Nashville, TN. The NIA House is an exceptional institution that is dedicated to providing quality education to children of all backgrounds and promoting the Montessori philosophy within the black community.


ABOUT NIA HOUSE MONTESSORI


The NIA House Montessori School offers a unique approach to education that is tailored to the needs of black children. They've has taken this approach and adapted it to the experiences of minority children, offering programs and curricula that are inclusive, culturally responsive, and relevant to their needs.


WHAT MAKES THEIR SCHOOL DIFFERENT


The NIA House offers a range of interesting programs and activities for children. For example, they offer dance classes, cooking lessons, yoga, and mindfulness practices to help children develop a sense of self-awareness and emotional regulation.
